Disney XD has ordered "Mighty Med," a live-action comedy series
inspired by the extraordinary world of super heroes and comic books --
starring Bradley Steven Perry (Disney Channel's "Good Luck Charlie")
as Kaz and Jake Short (Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm") as Oliver. The
multi-camera series will begin production in Los Angeles, California in
July for a fall 2013 premiere on Disney XD. The announcement was made by
Adam Bonnett, Senior Vice President, Original Programming, Disney
Channel.The series follows best friends Kaz and Oliver who, while hanging out at their favorite comic book store, inadvertently discover a secret wing of a hospital that caters to super heroes and comic book characters.
